G W E N O' N E I L

Gwen O’Neil (New York, 1992) is a photographer and painter who resides in Los Angeles. She recently opened, Grey Projects LA, a gallery in the arts district that doubles as her studio.

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She creates etherial images, focusing on the light and color of her surroundings. Gwen’s aesthetic developed from an interest in abstract artists, such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Uta Barth and Helen Frankenthaler.

Currently, she is creating a new body of abstract photographs that are inspired by the flowers in her mother’s garden.
